Our Intention

Home Grown was established in 2005 to share the wonders and wisdom of shamanism and earth-centred spirituality.

We aim to help modern people regain a sense of belonging to the land and belonging to life.

We aim to promote living in reciprocity kindness and responsibility for one another and this living world.

We aim to bring people together to practice ‘unity in diversity’.

We believe that everyone has the ability to return to the heart space and open their spiritual ‘eyes’ to see everything as alive and sacred.

Community Gatherings

Homegrown is actively involved in feeding the wellbeing of community and country by offering regular events for people to come and share wisdom and experiences, joining together to look after our local ecology and care for community members in need. We encourage people to listen and learn from the invaluable wisdom of our first nations people in how to care for country and be connected. All our community efforts carry the intention of creating a healthy and sustainable future for all living beings.

Sacred Activism

Home Grown is dedicated to efforts of sacred activism around the globe. This path and practice has personally moved me from a state of overwhelm despair and helplessness into motivation and active participation in group projects working to bring greater justice, equality, human rights, protection to our living world and a grass roots bottom-up approach to the future development of our society & culture. It has helped me move beyond passivity and into engagement with my world and how I can play a part in positive change.

“A spirituality that is only private and self-absorbed, one devoid of an authentic political and social consciousness, does little to halt the suicidal juggernaut of history.

On the other hand, an activism that is not purified by profound spiritual and psychological self-awareness and rooted in divine truth, wisdom, and compassion will only perpetuate the problem it is trying to solve, however righteous its intentions.

When, however, the deepest and most grounded spiritual vision is married to a practical and pragmatic drive to transform all existing political, economic, and social institutions, a holy force – the power of wisdom and love in action – is born. This force I define as Sacred Activism.”

The large-scale practice of Sacred Activism can become an essential force for preserving and healing the planet and its inhabitants. earn how to synthesise
